May is finally here! Can you believe it? It's been a long time coming, but we are so excited about this beautiful weather and all of the fun activities we have ahead of us.
Most importantly, this month we get to celebrate motherhood!
While this post is going to be focused on our favorite things this month, we want to take a moment to recognize you!
Day in and day out you do what you can to provide the best possible life for your family. The sleepless nights, the rushed mornings and the clean laundry do not go unnoticed (although it may seem that way at times). You are the backbone of your family and your hard work and efforts help to provide those you love with the best possible life. We applaud you and celebrate you and hope that you take this Mother's Day to do something special for yourself. You are an unsung hero and we SEE you!
**PS. Don't worry, next month we'll spoil the awesome daddy's of the world with a little love and recognition too.**

On another note, we are really excited to share some of our favorite items for spring! These are things we are loving in our own home this time of year and we really hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
--Coola sunscreen: This has been so helpful during the countless hours we have been spending doing landscaping and playing on the playground! It rubs in so nicely and you don't feel that awful layer of grease (who knows what I'm talking about?!). We use the regular "Sport" version on the whole family. P.S. May 24th is National Sunscreen Day...seemed appropriate. :)
--This Nature Scavenger Hunt for Toddlers: This has been so much fun! Ellie really enjoys trying to find everything on the list and we've made some really fun discoveries in the process! P.S. May 24th is also National Scavenger Hunt Day. WEIRD!
--Easy No-Cook Salsa Recipe: This is the BEST! It takes literally 5 minutes to put together and is always a crowd pleaser. You can add extra jalapenos to spice it up or omit it if you're serving to younger children. I love whipping this up to take to parties in a pinch.
--Spring Garden Dress: Is this not the sweetest? We love the ruffle sleeves and that delicate pattern. Ellie will be wearing this to celebrate Mother's Day!
--Simply Clean: I love this book so much this time of year! As I up the ante with spring cleaning, I always refer to this book to remind me of those little details. Who knew that the dishwasher actually has a filter that needs to be cleaned? (Hint: I had literally NO CLUE---gross).
--Button Back Tank: For the Mamas!!--How adorable is this shirt? It can be worn with jeans and a cute pair of flats or with leggings to the grocery store. I've been trying to be more intentional about what I put in my closet and this has definitely been a great addition.
